History
A small garden on Largo Major Teles, between the Rossio and the Almeida Moreira Museum. In the middle stands a bronze sculpture by José de Oliveira Ferreira (1883-1942): a mother with her sleeping child in her arms, entitled «The Best Sleep of Our Lives».
The sculptor gave the work to the city because his mother was from Viseu, and dedicated it to her memory.
